Job Description

Wastewater Operator
Shift:
7:00 AM-3:30
PMHourly Rate:
$34.84 an hourReporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will operate and maintain plant utility systems including the waste water systems, and pumps. You will perform daily checks, conduct preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to support safe and reliable operations.

  • Operate andmaintainthewaste watersystem in compliance with site and environmental standards
  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on boiler,waste water, and utility equipment
  • Operate, inspect, andmaintainpumps to ensure safe and reliable performance
  • Document work performed andcommunicatesystem or equipment concerns to the Maintenance Manager
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures for utility systems.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
  • Experience working withwaste watersystems or plant utilities
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electricaltroubleshooting forequipment operation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Maryland T4Waste WaterOperatoror Industrial Wastewater Works Operator, Class 2
  • We will cover certifications costs.
