WATER / WASTEWATER OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

to join our growing team in the Dundee, Michigan area. We support our staff through training, and on-going certifications to enhance their professional development. Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain water distribution systems (mains, valves, and hydrants). Operate and maintain sewer collection systems (pump stations). Perform water / wastewater treatment plant operations and maintenance. Respond to water and sewer emergencies. Perform water / wastewater sampling and monitoring. Perform laboratory analysis for water quality parameters. Perform housekeeping and facility maintenance.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required. At least 1 year of relevant water / wastewater experience. Valid driver's license, CDL-B preferred. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to follow oral and written technical directions. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and the public.
