Job Description
If you value hands-on work, being on a team, and serving the community, the Wastewater Operator position may be ideal for you! This position is responsible for monitoring treatment processes, operating and maintaining equipment, performing lab testing, keeping records, and adjusting operations to ensure high quality effluent. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a Class D Wastewater Operator's License (or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire). Preferred qualifications include a two-year vocational college degree, two years' experience working with municipal wastewater systems or similar industrial facilities, and a Class C Wastewater Operator's License.
