Job Description

H2O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America. H2O is currently seeking a Wastewater Operator (Class I-II) to join our team in Laurel, Mississippi.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor wastewater treatment processes under supervision Perform routine inspections, sampling, and basic laboratory testing Record operational data and maintain accurate logs Assist with minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirementsRespond to alarms and assist in troubleshooting process or equipment issuesSupport preventative maintenance activities on pumps, valves, and other plant equipmentAssist with process adjustments to help maintain compliance with permit requirementsThe Skills We Are Looking For Active Class I or Class II Wastewater Operator License Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and plant operations Willingness to learn and grow within the wastewater industry, with the goal of advancing certification levels Ability to follow instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic tools and equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record data Basic computer skills for data entry and system monitoring Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work in varying environmental conditionsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity in our workforce. #INDEED #ZR
