Job Description

H2O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America. H2O is currently seeking a Wastewater Operator (Class IV) to join our team in Laurel, Mississippi.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and operate wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance and efficiencyMonitor plant operations and make adjustments as neededAnalyze lab and operational data to maintain treatment performanceTroubleshoot process, mechanical, and equipment issuesCoordinate and support maintenance of plant equipmentMaintain accurate logs, reports, and compliance documentationLead and support lower-level operatorsRespond to alarms, upsets, and emergency situationsAssist with inspections, audits, and regulatory coordinationEnforce safety procedures and company standardsThe Skills We Are Looking For Active Level IV Wastewater Operator License (or equivalent)Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and regulationsExperience in municipal wastewater plant operationsAbility to monitor and adjust plant processes and systemsMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsLeadership ability and experience supporting a teamStrong communication and problem-solving skillsCommitment to safety and regulatory complianceWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity in our workforce. #INDEED #ZR
