Landfill Construction Foreman

Job Title:

Gas Construction Foreman Job Description We are seeking a dedicated construction foreman with experience in natural gas or landfill gas construction to support our efforts across multiple sites surrounding Concord, NC. This candidate will be performing to identify leaks and corrosion, troubleshoot, and make repairs to landfill gas pipe systems, wells and pumps. Responsibilities Perform pipe repairs on HDPE (poly-pipe) using pipe fusion methods. Coordinate and supervise landfill gas techs who will be working on your crew. Will be provided a company vehicle and any heavy equipment to facilitate project completion. Coordinate with other team members and Project Manager to ensure timely and efficient project execution. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience in an oil & gas, railroad or landfill gas construction is ideal. Will consider candidates with less experience and pay will vary. Proficiency in reading blueprints/maps/construction drawings, operating heavy equipment, and being a working supervisor. Mechanical aptitude and experience in construction environments. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in the landfill gas industry is highly preferred; natural gas or railroad construction experience will also be considered. 40-Hour

HAZWOPER

certification is a plus. Pipe fusion certification is a plus. Experience operating excavators is a significant advantage. Work Environment This role involves traveling between three local sites surrounding Concord, NC, to oversee and complete various projects as they arise- all within a 3 hour radius. Company vehicle is provided, per diem is provided for any overnight stays, weekly pay, benefits through BC/BS, 401k, PTO/Holidays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
