Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Water, Sewer, and Storm Drain Forman to lead and oversee projects related to water, sewer systems, and storm drainage infrastructure. In this vital role, you will coordinate field crews, ensure safety compliance, and manage project execution from start to finish. Your leadership will drive project success by maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety while fostering a collaborative team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure development that enhances community resilience and sustainability. Duties Lead and supervise construction crews in the installation, repair, and maintenance of water, sewer, and storm drain systems. Coordinate daily work activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications. Oversee site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of project designs. Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets industry standards and project requirements. Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, incident logs, and project records; utilize tools like ProCore or Bluebeam for digital documentation. Enforce safety regulations related to construction site experience; ensure all team members are trained on OSHA guidelines. Requirements Proven experience supervising water, sewer, or storm drain projects with a strong understanding of construction management principles. Extensive construction site experience with a focus on infrastructure projects involving pipelines and underground utilities. Supervising experience leading teams in fast-paced environments while maintaining high safety standards. Knowledge of OSHA regulations specific to construction sites; ability to enforce safety protocols diligently. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, vendors, and management staff. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred. Nice-to-Have Skills Certifications in heavy equipment operation or specialized utility installation techniques. Experience with Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) or Primavera P6 for comprehensive project scheduling. Construction management certification or relevant training programs.
