Salary:

$125,000 - $180,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Per DiemFounded in 1947, we are a self-performing heavy civil and water/wastewater contractor with 1,000+ employees across the Southeast. Our Charlotte division delivers ground-up water and wastewater treatment plants, including structural concrete, process mechanical installation, yard piping, and major plant expansions. We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Superintendent to lead field operations on treatment plant projects, ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-schedule delivery.

What You Will Be DoingLead daily field operations for water/wastewater treatment plant construction, including:

Clarifiers, aeration basins, headworks, digesters, UV/chlorination systemsProcess piping, pumps, valves, and mechanical equipment installationStructural concrete, yard piping, and self-perform scopesDirect and mentor self-perform crews (concrete, mechanical, piping) and manage subcontractorsInterpret drawings, P&IDs, submittals, and specifications to ensure accurate installationMaintain project schedules, daily reports, inspections, and field documentationLead jobsite safety programs and enforce company and regulatory standardsCoordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Owners to resolve field issuesWhat You Need for This Position5-10 years of Superintendent experience with a self-performing general contractor

Required:

direct experience building water or wastewater treatment plantsStrong knowledge of concrete structures, process mechanical systems, and large-diameter pipingAbility to lead crews, sequence complex work, and maintain productivity and quality

Preferred:
