Job Description

This position is responsible for assuring that the operation of the wastewater treatment facility meets or exceeds all State and Federal rules and regulations. Associates of science degree in chemistry or biology from an accredited college or university preferred. 5 years' experience in laboratory operations; must demonstrate ability to interpret State and Federal regulations. Thorough knowledge of chemistry and mathematics as it applies to wastewater treatment, thorough knowledge of municipal wastewater treatment operations. The ability to read and understand federal pretreatment regulations, good communication skills. Must have a Valid Drivers License. Must have or ability to obtain within 12 months a NH Wastewater Treatment Facility Operator Grade II and a New England Laboratory Analyst Grade II certification.
Pay Range:
$54,766.40 - $72,051.20 ($26.33 - $34.64).
