Job Description
Back Wastewater Operator-in-Training (Night Shift)
- 24808 Operator-in-Training Contract 11547 Sep 14, 2026 Hoboken , New Jersey We are seeking a Wastewater Operator-in-Training for assignment in Hoboken, New Jersey. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the operations and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant including maintenance of equipment and quality control testing. Hours are Monday
- Friday, 10:00pm
- 6:30am
- This is a 2nd or 3rd Shift position
- Responsibilities
- Operate treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water/wastewater, sludge and effluent
- Observe variations in operating conditions
- Interpret meter and gauge readings
- Collect samples
- Maintain shift logs
- Perform other duties as required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- A valid Drivers License
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
