Sanitation The Role Under the direction of the Sanitation Manager, The Sanitation Supervisor promotes and maintains adherence to food safety cleanliness. Using proper work procedures and compliance with Food Safety Standards as defined by the FDA, SQF, BRC and /or HACCP programs. What You'll Do Supervises daily workloads, training staff, and handles performance reviews and goal setting for sanitation staff of 20-30 employees. Responsible for training all new sanitation workers in proper cleaning SSOPs, chemical use and safety procedures. Oversees all sanitation functions for plant/shift. Schedules major cleanup projects with production supervisors. Manages detailed cleaning tasks as per production schedule, and master sanitation schedules. Monitors staffing to reduce costs and increase efficiency whenever possible. Maintains chemical usage and cleaning logs. Is responsible for inventory and storing of all sanitation supplies. Responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, SQF, and BRC requirements. Accountable for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your manager. Partner with others by sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas. Responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development including temps in a union environment. Provide Time Clock Management along with backup assistance in the absence of Sanitation Manager. #IND123 #LI-BA1 What You'll Bring In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity.EDUCATION
List the minimum education required to be qualified for the position, including certifications or licenses. High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.EXPERIENCE
3+ Years of Supervisory Experience preferred. Experience in sanitation in a food environment required.SPECIFICATIONS
- Knowledge
- Sanitation chemicals and of food handling preferred. Computer literate.

- English required, Spanish a plus.
- Abilities
- Ability to follow verbal directions.

- Yes The base pay range for this position is $69,100 to $96,740 annually.
