A Water Treatment Specialist or Waste Water Operator operates and monitors equipment in facilities that treat wastewater. Monitors treatment processes so that water is cleaned to meet public health and environmental standards and is safe for drinking or releasing into the environment.
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Sanitation Manager to oversee sanitation operations and lead a team of sanitation employees. This position is responsible for ensuring cleanliness standards, safety procedures, and company requirements are consistently maintained while providing leadership, training, and support to the sanitation team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and experience managing sanitation operations in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the sanitation team to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met. Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to Sanitation Supervisors and sanitation staff. Develop, implement, and maintain cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures. Train employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company standards. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with sanitation requirements. Monitor sanitation performance and identify areas for improvement. Manage sanitation supplies, equipment, and inventory levels. Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve sanitation-related issues. Maintain accurate sanitation records, reports, and documentation. Conduct employee evaluations and provide feedback to improve team performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and sanitation regulations. Investigate issues and implement corrective actions when needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives within sanitation operations. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bilingual English/Spanish
REQUIRED.
3+ years of experience in sanitation, custodial, warehouse, or facility operations. Previous management or supervisory experience required. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safety practices. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for reports and documentation.
