About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Sanitation Supervisor to lead and support sanitation operations within a food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising sanitation staff, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of cleanliness across production lines and equipment. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in sanitation programs, regulatory compliance, and team development. What You'll Do Supervise and coordinate sanitation staff and activities across the plant Ensure proper cleaning of food processing lines and equipment according to established standards Develop, implement, and maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule Lead plant sanitation programs and ensure performance meets or exceeds company expectations Assist production teams during scheduled sanitation cycles Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (GMP, HACCP, etc.) Maintain readiness for internal, customer, and regulatory audits and inspections Deliver training programs on sanitation processes and procedures Monitor and enforce company policies, safety standards, and best practices Collaborate with leadership to support operational goals and continuous improvement Lead, coach, and motivate team members to drive performance and engagement Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development Partner with HR on hiring, promotions, and compensation decisions Facilitate team meetings and communicate goals and expectations clearly
What You'll Need Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment
Preferred:
Experience with Excel, database systems, or similar tools Knowledge of HACCP, CCP, GMP, and food safety programs Experience with budgeting and cost planning
The Schedule & Setting Shift:
Nights- Hours are flexible Run 24/7
Work Environment:
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility regularly Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and reaching
Pay & Benefits Pay Range:
$70,000/yr - $75,000/yr
Other Compensation:
May include overtime and shift premiums depending on schedule
