Summary We are seeking a dedicated Wastewater Operator to join our team at McCutcheon Enterprises, Inc. (MEI) in Apollo, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art wastewater treatment facility, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while contributing to our mission of protecting the environment for future generations. Responsibilities Operate and monitor wastewater treatment processes to ensure optimal performance. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment used in wastewater treatment. Collect and analyze data related to water quality and treatment efficiency. Maintain accurate records of operations and compliance with regulatory standards. Assist in the operation of heavy equipment as needed for facility operations. Respond to alarms and troubleshoot issues within distributed control systems. Participate in training programs to stay current on industry best practices. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training preferred. Experience in wastewater treatment or related field is highly desirable. Strong understanding of distributed control systems and logic controllers. Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely. Excellent data collection and analytical skills. Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
