Job Description
We are excited about growing our team of residential water filtration technicians. HQ Water Solutions is a family-owned, Lancaster-based company looking for someone with the necessary technical qualifications, but more importantly

- Move or lift heavy objects, including filtration systems and the necessary plumbing equipment
- Troubleshoot water treatment systems and work through customer concerns/questions
- Keep track of the inventory needed to complete current and future projects

- Learn and utilize our technology platforms and CRM
- Speak highly of the company and work to secure new customer, referrals, and reviews This position requires you to be skilled at, and enjoy working independently, communicating system operation and maintenance needs to customers, working in a clean and organized fashion, and working to exceed our customers' expectations.
Job Details:
Service, install, and troubleshoot water treatment products, equipment, and machinery. Inspect and test mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear. Determine how to correct issues, checking repair manuals or parts catalogues as necessary. Provide quotes on labor and materials. Provide instructions to customers on the proper usage of their product. Deliver 50lb bags of salt to homes and businesses. Salt delivery may require carrying into basements and crawl spaces. Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting internal parts, cleaning system, replacing filters or doing other preventive maintenance actions. Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance. Record detailed information about customers, parts, repairs, follow-up actions and install pictures in service app. Use service app to communicate with customers regarding arrival time, follow up actions and cost of services. Answer incoming calls from customers and staff. Submit warranty parts and install replacements for worn, damaged, or defective parts. Install new systems. Evaluate pre plumbs and non-pre plumbed properties to determine unit placement and scope of work. Perform walkthrough with customer and get approval before any work is done to their property. Submit all checks, cash, and credit card information for all invoices paid by customers. Upsell units and follow up with customers interested in upgrading. Facilitate paperwork, payment, and scheduling of installation. Help and support sales and marketing efforts when needed (commissionable rate to be discussed). Follow up with customers with incomplete work orders, communicate parts status and coordinate scheduling. Maintain inventory of equipment/parts and notify supervisor when supplies are low. Order and pick up parts from local suppliers and ensure orders are correct. Submit all receipts for company-related expenses. Maintain company tools and notify management of any issues. Properly maintain company vehicle and work spaces. Communicate with management and office personnel and maintain phone accessibility. Maintain a positive and optimistic attitude as well as engage with customers in an appropriate manner. Physical Demands The employee will be standing for the majority of the workday. Physical demands include lifting, kneeling, crouching and crawling. The employee must occasionally lift 50 plus pounds. Education and Experience 1 year of experience preferred.
