Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated 2nd and 3rd Shift Sanitation Supervisor to lead overnight cleaning operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for supervising sanitation teams, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean, compliant facility while meeting strict production timelines. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a sanitation team of 7-8 employees Oversee an additional team of 6-8 pan washer associates Ensure all sanitation tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule Monitor and enforce food safety and sanitation standards Communicate sanitation issues and updates throughout the shift Track downtime and document operational concerns Prepare and submit daily shift reports to leadership Inspect facility cleanliness and ensure compliance at all times Leadership Responsibilities Motivate teams to perform physically demanding work while maintaining morale and productivity Coach, train, and develop team members, including underperforming employees Resolve employee conflicts quickly and professionally Delegate tasks and monitor progress throughout the shift Follow up to ensure all work meets quality and safety standards Respond rapidly to sanitation or food safety concerns Qualifications 2+ years of sanitation, production, or warehouse leadership experience Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, GMP, and food safety standards preferred Proven leadership and team development skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Flexibility to work overnight and weekends as needed
