Schuylkill County Municipal Authority - 2.5 Pottsville, PA Job Details 3 days ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description Schuylkill County Municipal Authority (SCMA) is seeking motivated applicants with experience in the operation and maintenance of sanitary sewer collection systems. Successful candidates will be working with pumping stations and individual customer grinder pumps, performing mechanical / electrical / control troubleshooting and repair, operating sewer jetting equipment and / or other industry related equipment. Schuylkill County Municipal Authority (SCMA) is seeking motivated applicants with experience in the maintenance of water and wastewater systems. Would be responsible for the execution of internal maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities in all water and wastewater treatment plants and related facilities. Coordinate with operations staff to administer routine maintenance procedures. Coordinate with maintenance staff and/or contractors to perform required repairs. Position requires standardization and documentation of maintenance activities. May participate and plan an active role in capital improvement projects. All work must be completed while maintaining compliance with all federal (EPA) and state (PADEP) regulations. Includes any additional tasks assigned by management. This position is available on 8-hour shifts; day shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM), with on call responsibilities. Evening, weekend, and holiday work occasionally required. Qualified applicants must possess a High School Diploma and a valid PA Driver's License. PADEP Certified Water and Wastewater License and experience in the water and wastewater maintenance field are preferred. Successful candidates must be safety oriented, self-motivated and have a positive mindset.
