Job Description

Weston & Sampson Services is looking for an Environmental Technician. This position will be located in and around the North Shore of Massachusetts. What you'll do: Responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of treatment plants and associated pump stations within the service area. Perform daily inspection, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment at wastewater and water treatment plants and pump stations, as assigned.
What you will bring:
Must be able to climb ladders and lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds Must have a valid driver's license Will be required to respond to emergencies, work shift, on-call, weekends, and holidays, as assigned A high school diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of mechanical experience are required Must have good written and verbal communication, customer service, problem solving, and organizational skills Ability to obtain a wastewater treatment and/or water treatment operator's license within 1 year of employment is preferred
Pay Range:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience #
