Job Description

Greater Uniontown Joint Sewage Plant Authority Is seeking applicants for the position of Certified Operator The applicant should possess the following qualifications: Persons applying for this position must have a Class A-1 Operator's License issued by the PA-DEP or the ability to upgrade an existing license to a Class A-1. Other advanced training in wastewater treatment, safety, and mechanics will be considered. Operators will perform the duties of general labor, maintenance duties, and compliance operation duties as directed. Will be required to make independent compliance process control decisions.
Rate:
Effective April 1, 2023•$32.10 1st year per Union scale
Shift:
Day•Four ten hour days or five eight hour days. Weekend and holiday work is required. Benefits per Union contract agreement. The position may or may not be filled pending applications.
