Job Description
The Womelsdorf Sewer Authority is seeking to fill a full-time lead operator position for its .475MGD SBR facility. The individual in this position will perform and be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant, its processes and all related components of the Authority's wastewater system. The individual must be able to work independently, exhibit good communications skills and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. The individual must be proficient with pump operations, chemical feed systems, laboratory equipment and instrumentation, solids dewatering, regulatory reporting requirements and SCADA and Controls systems. Proficiency with the use of hand tools and power tools and the ability to perform heavy manual labor are expectations of this position as well as being readily available for emergency over-time work. A high school diploma, valid PA driver's license and a PA Wastewater Operator Certification Class
