Job Description

Description We are looking for a dedicated Sanitation Supervisor to oversee and lead sanitation operations within our manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas. This role involves managing a team to ensure compliance with sanitation, food safety, and safety protocols while maintaining a clean and audit-ready environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to excellence, and the ability to address challenges proactively.

WITH SOME FRIDAYS NEEDED AS WELL.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead the sanitation team, ensuring adherence to performance standards, attendance policies, and safe work practices.
  • Plan and allocate daily sanitation tasks to meet established protocols, production timelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment and facility cleanliness, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of cleaning chemicals to comply with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Maintenance, and Quality, to optimize sanitation processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, including daily logs, chemical inventories, and compliance documentation.
  • Provide training and coaching to sanitation staff, including onboarding and refresher programs.
  • Monitor and track sanitation supplies, initiating inventory counts and requisitioning items as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance sanitation efficiency, safety outcomes, and overall effectiveness.
  • Communicate daily updates regarding sanitation performance, challenges, and readiness for production start-ups. Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in sanitation or safety preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or sanitation-related role.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and sanitation practices.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Physical ability to perform duties in varying environmental conditions and lift items up to 30 lbs.
  • Familiarity with chemical handling and compliance standards.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours, including weekends or overtime, as needed.
