!! Overview The Wastewater Technician oversees the operations and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities. This role involves supervising a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing plant processes, and troubleshooting equipment issues. The ideal candidate will have experience in equipment repair, distributed control systems, and wastewater treatment. Duties
  • Conduct equipment repair and maintenance tasks
  • Utilize distributed control systems for monitoring and control
  • Assist in wastewater treatment processes
  • Perform data collection and analysis
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed
  • Maintain logic controllers and ensure proper functioning
  • Apply basic math skills for calculations Experience
  • State wastewater treatment operator certification (Class II or higher) or equivalent is preferred
  • Prior experience in equipment repair and maintenance
  • Proficiency in distributed control systems
  • Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting
  • Experience with logic controllers is a plus
