The position available is Wastewater Collections Operator I-IV. This position is under the supervision of the Director of Field Services. Specific work assignments will be assigned based upon experience, abilities, performance, and the needs of the District.
Salary:
$24.32-$31.74 per hour (Depending on Certification/Experience)

A high school diploma or GED. A valid Utah driver's license. Within 30 days of hire, you must obtain a temporary CDL license. Within 90 days a permanent Class B CDL with a current medical card, tanker and air brake endorsements. The position requires a Utah Wastewater Collections Operator I (Restricted) certification or the ability to acquire within twenty-four (24) months of hire date & maintained thereafter. Strong oral/written skills and problem solving. Able to interact with the public and coworkers in a positive manner. A willingness to work shift work and be on call. U.S. work authorization. Must pass pre-employment drug screening. Some of the required duties will include: Operating & troubleshooting problems using a TV truck, related camera, and equipment to inspect wastewater lines. Operating a combination unit jet truck. Inspecting, maintaining, and conducting routine tests on the interiors of wastewater line and pump stations. Removing and inspecting manhole covers and manholes. Reading maps and construction drawings. Following instructions in establishing routes and work schedules Maintaining records and logs, completing reports as necessary, and working with the Engineering Department to ensure accuracy.
