Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Lead Cleaner to oversee cleaning operations across our residential clients. This role is vital in maintaining a pristine, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors alike. As a Lead Cleaner, you will supervise cleaning staff, ensure adherence to sanitation standards, and manage cleaning processes with efficiency and professionalism. Your leadership will help uphold our commitment to cleanliness, safety, and exceptional service in a fast-paced setting. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple areas, including commercial spaces, hospitality environments, or industrial sites. Lead and motivate cleaning teams to achieve high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure timely completion of cleaning duties. Enforce safety regulations and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct inspections to verify cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with sanitation protocols. Train new staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and customer service expectations. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and maintenance. Requirements Proven experience in custodial work, commercial or industrial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management. Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience with strong leadership skills. Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices. Excellent communication skills for effective managerial communication and team supervision. Ability to oversee multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Customer service orientation with a focus on creating positive experiences for clients and visitors. Physical ability to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery.
