Job Description

Duties:
  • Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and systems
  • Monitor and analyze water/wastewater samples to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and plumbing systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise
  • Keep accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and test results
  • Assist with the construction and installation of new equipment or upgrades
  • Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as needed
  • Applicant must be at least 18 years of age, have a driver's license, provide a driving record, be able to pass an alcohol/drug test, and will agree to have a background check done prior to beginning of work.
  • Applicants will be required to work some Weekend/Holidays, and after normal scheduled working hours and emergency work required when needed.
  • Applicants will need to achieve a state license in Water and Wastewater, once required experience has been completed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in wastewater treatment or a related field is preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Basic math skills for performing calculations and measurements
  • Ability to work independently and follow written instructions
  • Good communication skills for interacting with team members and supervisors
  • Physical stamina for performing tasks that require heavy lifting and manual labor
