Waste Water Technician

Overview:

We are currently hiring multiple Waste Water Technicians for long term, multi year contracts in Newport News, VA. All 3 shifts are available.

Description:

Operate the Chemical Wastewater & Oily Wastewater Treatment facilities; ensuring the removal or reduction of heavy metals and/or other contaminants prior to discharge. Monitors unit processes (equalization, chemical addition, filtration, etc.) and adjusts flow rates, chemical federates and other variables to properly treat wastewater handled by these facilities. Collects and analyzes wastewater samples, identifying chemical properties and contaminants to determine required treatment processes and/or evaluate plant operating performance.

Qualifications:

US Citizenship. High School Diploma. 2 years of relevant experience.

Pay Rate:
