Job Description

Our company is seeking a Water Distribution / Treatment Technician. The successful candidate must have a strong skill set in installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of various pump and controls. Field troubleshooting and repair, including electrical controls, is greatly desired. The Distribution / Treatment Technician will travel to customer's home or water system to perform service required per situational request. The technician will need to provide description of service done to customer and work order.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to think critically, troubleshoot problems, and work independently in the field. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Punctual, reliable, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule. Valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record. Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to perform physical work, lift equipment and materials, and work in various weather conditions. Experience in water treatment, water distribution, well systems, pumps, plumbing, electrical, or related fields is preferred but not required. Current Washington State water certifications are highly desirable, including: Water Distribution Manager (WDM 1 or higher) Certified Cross-Connection Specialist (CCS) Water Treatment Plant Operator (WTPO) Certified Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) Ability and willingness to obtain additional certifications and training as required.
