Job Description
Village of Hancock, Waushara County, WI is seeking 1 full time Public Works employee. Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Perform general day-to-day tasks to help with the operation and maintenance of the water system, water waste system, streets, parks, and all Village-owned properties/structures. Includes operation and maintenance of all Village owned equipment. This may also include monitoring the water treatment plan daily to ensure proper operations, performing laboratory tests, data entry, water treatment plant-related maintenance, water meter installs, testing water meters and reports, communicating with contractors and the oversight of the Village Water system, including wells and water distribution systems. Other duties may include the repair and maintenance of street signs, traffic signs and other markings in locations determined by the Village Board. Applicants should also be able to maintain cleaning and plowing as well as ice control and other winter work. Sanitary sewer collection System/Wastewater treatment facility oversight is also required from the applicant. Applicant is required to do cleaning and repair on storm sewers
