Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Water Treatment Technician and become a vital part of ensuring clean, safe, and efficient water management systems. In this energetic role, you will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot water treatment equipment to meet regulatory standards and optimize system performance. Your expertise will directly impact environmental health and community. Responsibilities Must maintain waste treatment systems by monitoring operations panel, filling feed tanks, cleaning probes, running filter press, and maintaining constant feed to sludge dryer. Must be able to calibrated control panel. Works with purchasing on keeping inventory of spare parts for all waste treatment equipment on hand. Must be able to work with all shift foremen. Fill out daily log sheets. Must trouble shoot and repair or coordinate all repairs to the waste treatment systems. Must work well with all other waste treatment personnel and upgrade system/policies as needed. Must have good communication skills both verbal and written. Must be willing to do other work as required by supervisors. Performs all other similar or related duties as necessary. Skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Maintenance experience in the following areas required: electronics, machine repair, and small engines. Have the ability to remain on task and work through projects with limited to no supervision. Confidentiality is a must.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Knowledgeable of the contingency plan and prepared to use it in case of an emergency. Knowledgeable of the lock out, tag out policy and follow said procedures. Knowledgeable of the confined space entry policy and follow such procedures. Trained and licensed in tow motor operations Trained in hazardous materials handling. Trained in ISO and follow said procedures. Able to act as chemical add person and do the said duties of. Tolerance for bending, standing, and walking for long periods. 20-20 vision with or without prescribed eyeglasses, speaking ability, and hearing accuracy. Manual dexterity. Must be able to move or carry up to 50 lbs. frequently. Able to tolerate working on the shop floor all day.

From $18.75 per hour
