Requirements & Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the night shift sanitation team Oversee equipment disassembly, cleaning, sanitization, and reassembly Ensure proper staffing levels and shift coverage Monitor sanitation efficiency and minimize downtime to support production readiness Enforce company safety policies and lead scheduled safety meetings Conduct coaching sessions and support employee development Prepare and submit nightly sanitation reports Conduct accident investigations and maintain safety documentation Manage employee attendance and time records Maintain training documentation for new hires Ensure compliance with food safety standards, HACCP requirements, GMPs, and company policies
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in sanitation within the food industry Strong knowledge of USDA and OSHA regulations Experience with CIP systems, chemical handling, and industrial equipment cleaning Working knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently during overnight hours Ability to work in refrigerated environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Meat Science, Agricultural Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience) Experience leading sanitation in a meat or protein processing environment Prior involvement in food safety audits or regulatory inspections Don't hesitate!
