Job Description

At Thrive Freeze Dry, our people are the foundation of our success. We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Sanitation Supervisor who embodies our core values and is passionate about maintaining the highest standards in food safety, sanitation, and team leadership. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.
Hours:
M-F 9:00pm-6:00am - Occasional planned meetings during first shift. Our Core ValuesContinuous ImprovementAccountabilityIntegrityPersonal Growth & WellnessTeamworkWork-Life BalancePosition SummaryThe Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing all sanitation and janitorial operations within a 24/7 food manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with food safety standards, proper chemical usage, and adherence to all sanitation procedures.

This leader will drive operational excellence by developing efficient processes, creating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and training team members to perform at a high level. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, safety-first culture while developing and coaching employees to reach their full potential.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate sanitation and janitorial operations across all shiftsEnsure proper use of chemicals and adherence to safety proceduresDevelop, implement, and train team members on SOPs and visual work instructionsSchedule staffing to ensure full sanitation coverage in a 24/7 operationLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectivenessTrain, coach, and develop team members to maintain high performance standardsPromote a positive and collaborative work environmentMonitor compliance with food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
