MIG Welder - 1st shift Job Description We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate heavy-duty MIG welding equipment to accurately and quickly fuse steel components for trailers. Daily responsibilities include material preparation, blueprint reading, quality and safety checks, and equipment maintenance. Responsibilities Perform high-output welding using MIG equipment to fuse steel components. Measure, cut, and fit base metal pieces prior to welding. Interpret engineering designs, blueprints, and welding symbols. Inspect finished pieces for structural integrity and avoid material warping. Maintain a clean work area and perform safety checks. Pre-inspect gear and tools before shifts to ensure effective operation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carbondale, PA.
