Job Description
Matthews Industries is a contract manufacturer of sheet metal parts and assemblies. The welder position is for production welding. The work schedule is Monday - Friday, 5 am - 3;30p.m. with overtime as needed. The pay rate will be based upon experience. As a Tig welder in our company, you will be a vital part of our welding team, utilizing your core skills in blueprint reading, fabrication and welding to produce quality welds. Responsibilities:
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers and use math to preform basic calculations.
- Must be able to perform Tig and Mig welding on aluminum, stainless, and galvanized,
- Must be proficient in welding techniques
Qualifications:
- Experienced in both Tig & Mig welding desired
- Successful completion of an internal welding test
- Negative drug test
- Committed to quality and accuracy of work performed
- Understanding and support of company policies and procedures
- Excellent attendance
Experience:
- Minimum of two years of welding experience
Education:
