  • Full-time M&J Fabrication is currently seeking highly motived and talented individuals with fitting and welding experience.
We are hiring for MIG and TIG welding positions. Candidates must have the ability to interpret blueprints, layout and build/assemble large steel structures.
Duties:
Determine and set up required equipment and tools for welding projects Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations Execute required layout, assembly, and welding operations Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as needed Clean and maintain work area Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks
Requirements:
Capable and experienced in rigging and lifting techniques with overhead crane 3 years experience in structural fitting/fabrication Pass a MIG and or TIG weld test Strong communication skills and can work in fast-paced environment Flexible to perform tasks outside of fitting and welding Summary As a Fitter/Fabricator, you will be a vital team member responsible for welding, fabrication, and rigging tasks. Your core skills in blueprint reading, hand tools, and basic math will be essential in interpreting designs and executing precise fabrication work. With premium skills in MIG and TIG welding, as well as experience with cranes, you will contribute to the efficient and high-quality production of metal components. Your relevant skills in mechanical knowledge and manufacturing processes will further enhance your ability to meet project requirements effectively.
