• . This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders with shipyard experience who are looking for competitive pay, per diem, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits.
• Responsibilities
• + Assist in the construction and repair of aircraft carriers and submarines.

+ Perform multi-pass, all-position fillet and butt welds. + Utilize welding processes including: + SMAW (Stick) + GMAW (MIG) + FCAW (Flux-Core) + GMAW-P (Pulse Arc) + Work in physically demanding shipyard environments, including climbing ladders, staging, and shipboard compartments. + Follow OSHA safety regulations and shipyard procedures. + Perform Air Carbon Arc Gouging as required. + Use fillet and butt weld gauges to verify weld quality. + Successfully complete all-position, multi-pass butt weld qualification testing in accordance with

• MIL-STD-248D

• standards.
• Qualifications
• + Minimum
• 4 years of structural welding experience
• in a naval shipyard environment. + Proficiency with Pulse Arc, MIG, Flux-Core, and Stick welding processes. + Experience performing multi-pass welds in all positions. + Ability to pass required welding qualification tests. + Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $45.

00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
