In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques. Your expertise will ensure that projects meet strict quality standards and adhere to safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from pipe installation to structural fabrication, contributing directly to the success of large-scale construction and manufacturing initiatives. Responsibilities Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding, and other specialized welding processes to join metal parts with precision. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications and welding requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment to prepare materials for welding and assembly. Execute pipe bending, tube fabrication, and fitting tasks in accordance with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards. Conduct maintenance on welding equipment and ensure all tools are properly calibrated and safe for use. Collaborate with team members on construction sites or manufacturing facilities to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining safety protocols. Assist with rigging, assembly, plumbing, HVAC systems, and fire sprinkler fitting as needed for project completion. Follow schematics and technical instructions to ensure accurate welding in pipeline, mechanical systems, or structural components. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections conducted, and materials used for quality assurance purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, and fire sprinkler fitting within construction or manufacturing environments. Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, calipers, pipe threading equipment, and tube bending machinery. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication processes. Knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC installation, pipeline construction, and maintenance procedures. Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to measurements and material estimations. Experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing facilities with a focus on safety compliance. Skilled in rigging techniques necessary for lifting and positioning heavy materials or equipment. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot welding issues effectively.
