About the Role As a Precision Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a critical role in the production of high-precision components within a specialized manufacturing environment. You will utilize your expertise in TIG welding and metal fabrication to ensure every product meets rigorous quality standards while contributing to the overall efficiency of our production line. Responsibilities Execute high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum to meet precise dimensional tolerances. Interpret complex blueprints, welding symbols, and technical work instructions to ensure accurate assembly. Utilize fixtures and positioning devices to prepare components for optimal weld integrity and penetration. Perform visual inspections and use precision measuring instruments to verify that all parts adhere to strict quality specifications. Troubleshoot welding equipment, materials, and fixturing to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. Mentor junior team members by sharing technical knowledge and best practices to elevate overall team performance. Collaborate with senior staff to refine standard work processes and improve manufacturing outcomes. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or
GED. 3-5
years of professional welding experience. At least 2 years of experience within a metal fabrication or precision machining environment. Proficiency in manual TIG welding processes for various metal types. Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring tools and interpret technical blueprints. Preferred Skills Active certification in GTAW (TIG) welding. Experience with MIG, stick, or flux core welding techniques. Strong mathematical aptitude and basic computer literacy for documentation and troubleshooting.
