Mig Welder Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Mig Welder for a company based in Tanner, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to pre-assemble small hollow metal parts requiring welding and blueprint reading. Pay Rate $19.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Friday through Sunday, 6 00 am to 6 30 pm. Mig Welder Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols. Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Perform welding on pre-assembled parts. Closely follow safety regulations and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly. Inspect finished welds for accuracy, strength, and stability. Mig Welder Qualifications and Requirements Valid forklift operator certification or license obtained through a recognized training program. Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, including counterbalance, reach, and pallet jack. Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries. Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently. Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
