Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and welding techniques, with a focus on precision and quality. This role involves interpreting blueprints and schematics, utilizing various power tools, and adhering to industry codes and standards to produce high-quality metal components. Responsibilities Interpret and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to fabricate metal components. Utilize power tools and welding equipment, including stick welding and plasma cutting, to build and assemble metal structures. Perform quality checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy in dimensions and specifications. Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality. Skills Proficiency in using power tools for metal fabrication tasks. Strong understanding of schematics and blueprints for effective interpretation of designs. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Experience with stick welding techniques and knowledge of relevant codes and standards. Familiarity with plasma cutting methods for efficient material processing. Ability to use calipers for precise measurement of metal components. Experience working with sheet metal, including cutting, bending, and assembling as required. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
