Penmac Staffing is currently hiring for an Industrial Machine Shop TIG Welder to fill an opening with a Metal Fabrication facility company located in Fort Smith, AR. The ideal candidate should be a highly skilled technician to work out of our machine/welding shop. A stable work history that demonstrates reliability.• You must be willing to explain any and all gaps in employment history. Requirements of the
TIG Welder:
The position will require considered candidates to complete a skills test onsite with our client. Must be an experienced TIG welder using stainless steel for an established metal fabrication shop in the Fort Smith area. Depending on work needs and client needs, the position may require some traveling. Must have good attendance and be able to work in a shop environment that is not temperature-controlled. TIG Welder:
Starting pay is $16.00/hr. Pay will increase based on work performance and experience 1st shift Full-time - Overtime as required! Medical ESOP Responsibilities of the
TIG Welder:
Ensure the correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics. Source replacement parts and perform repairs. Work with the facility manager to continually update the production process and system software. Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime. Safely operate power tools, hoists, and hand tools. Apply online now!
