Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our fabrication team at our steel mill. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and the ability to work with various types of steel. You will play a key role in fabricating and repairing metal components to ensure the efficient operation of our facility.

Schedule:

6am to 3pm Monday -

Friday Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding tasks on various steel components using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication. Conduct inspections and quality checks to maintain weld integrity and standards. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding, preferably in an industrial or steel mill setting. Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes. Strong understanding of metal properties and welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
