The ideal candidate will work individually and as part of the team welding door frame products in a production environment. This is a fast paced environment that requires candidates to work efficiently and quickly. Responsibilities Read and interpret requisitions and specifications to determine welding requirements. Perform grinding, seam welding and/or full welding of doors and frames in a timely fashion Grinding frames to prepare them for paint Knowledge and ability to identify hardware needed to complete frames (preps and anchors) Perform quality inspections on welded parts to ensure they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols. Comply with all compliance of all state and federal regulations, company standards and the

Code of Conduct. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Regular and reliable attendance. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Experience and skills Previous welding knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in various welding techniques, specifically MIG welding required. Ability to read blueprints, manufacturing or shop drawings and interpret. Ability to read and apply tape measure. Strong attention to detail and comittment to producing high quality work. Knowledge of fabrication processes and equipment operation, including hand tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
