We take pride in our ability to provide high-quality, customized portable storage solutions while delivering outstanding customer service. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Welder to join our dedicated Phoenix team. You will be responsible for welding and fabricating storage containers and other structures in our shop and on job sites. If you are someone who enjoys solving problems, working efficiently, and taking pride in delivering quality work, this is the job for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG (GMAW) welding to fabricate and repair storage containers and related structures. Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, work orders, and fabrication instructions. Operate welding equipment, fabrication tools, power tools, and operational machinery safely and efficiently. Repair structural damage, install modifications, and complete custom fabrication projects as assigned. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards, structural integrity, and operational functionality. Ensure all welds meet quality standards and pass AWS 3G and 4G weld tests. Maintain clean and organized fabrication, welding, and operational work areas. Follow company safety procedures, OSHA standards, and operational guidelines. Coordinate with shop personnel, service technicians, and management regarding fabrication priorities and operational needs. Assist with inventory usage, material organization, and equipment maintenance. Report equipment concerns, material shortages, and operational issues to management. Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred 2-5 years of welding, fabrication, construction, or repair experience preferred Experience with MIG welding, fabrication equipment, cutting tools, and repair techniques required Ability to read measurements, blueprints, and fabrication drawings preferred Forklift certification or operational equipment experience preferred Knowledge of shop safety procedures and fabrication standards required Strong communication and organizational skills preferred
