Job Description

Overview Join DKS's dynamic team as a MIG Welder and bring your expertise in fabrication and metalwork to life! In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding using the Metal Inert Gas (MIG) process to assemble, repair, and fabricate metal components across a variety of projects. Your mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and hands-on skills will contribute directly to the success of our manufacturing and construction initiatives. This position offers an energetic environment where your craftsmanship makes a tangible impact every day. Responsibilities Set up and operate MIG welding equipment Door & frame experience is highly recommended Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and positioning using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters Perform quality inspections utilizing calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and weld integrity Follow all safety protocols rigorously Ability to retain and apply given instructions Willingness to want to assist team members if needed Must have the ability to work independently and still execute the job Skills Proficiency in MIG welding along with experience and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) techniques Knowledge of <

> welding standards and ability to adapt techniques accordingly Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment Mechanical aptitude with understanding of rigging, crane operation, pipe threading, machining processes, and basic math calculations Excellent math skills is a requirement Position Type/Expected hours of work: 1st shift available only Monday - Friday (with possible Saturdays) 7:30am - 4:00pm
