Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing and construction team. This position is NOT for our off-road division. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of custom fabrications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your technical skills to produce high-quality work that meets industry standards. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication and welding requirements. Perform welding using dual shield FCAW (primary process) and MIG (GMAW) welding techniques to join various metals with accuracy and strength. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components. Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments; ensure all parts meet specified tolerances. Take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision. Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met. Operate rigging equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Follow safety protocols diligently while working on construction sites or in fabrication shops; maintain a clean and organized workspace. Requirements Proficient in dual shield FCAW welding (required) and MIG (GMAW) welding experience. Ability to read and understand shop prints. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly. Forklift operation experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills. Produces clean, visually sound, high‑quality welds. Detail‑oriented with a focus on quality workmanship. Self‑motivated , dependable, and able to work independently. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must pass a dual shield FCAW weld test and a shop print‑reading test. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
