Success With:

Ability to read, write, and speak English Previous experience with through-hole soldering required (SMT soldering experience is a plus)

IPC-A-610

Certification required Experience performing electronic assembly and rework tasks Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and wiring diagrams Familiarity with hand tools, soldering irons, wire strippers, and electronic assembly equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

What You'll Be Hands-On With:

Hand-solder electronic components, including connectors, wires, and small parts, onto printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) Perform through-hole soldering and rework of electronic assemblies Complete box-build assembly and integrate circuit boards with wiring harnesses and connectors Read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, wiring diagrams, and production documentation Inspect solder joints and completed assemblies to ensure quality and workmanship standards are met Follow IPC soldering and electronics assembly standards throughout the production process Assemble electronic products and prepare units for final enclosure installation Use soldering irons, wire strippers, hand tools, and other assembly equipment safely and effectively Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and report defects or quality concerns Maintain a clean and organized workstation Meet production schedules while maintaining quality and accuracy standards Support continuous improvement and other production-related tasks as needed
