Job Description
Job Summary
Our client is a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry with a long-standing history of innovation and engineering excellence. The organization offers challenging opportunities to contribute to advanced manufacturing and production environments.
TIG Welders are responsible for the fabrication and welding of aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel parts using the TIG process in accordance with company procedures and applicable aerospace standards. Welders must be capable of producing high-quality welds on aviation hardware ranging from 0.020" to 0.300" thickness in all positions.
Essential Functions & Competencies:
TIG welding of aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel components based on blueprints and drawings in all positions, including use of rotary turntables.
Set up machines according to work instructions to trim, size, form, inspect, and TIG weld materials to meet specifications.
Inspect welds for accuracy, defects, and compliance using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
Perform pre-heating and post-heating processes as required.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances.
Review drawings for compliance including dimensions, weld notes, base materials, and filler materials.
Perform basic math calculations including geometry and algebra for fabrication.
Maintain compliance with all company safety and substance policies.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

H.S Diploma or equivalent
