- Full-time Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic shop team.
In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and installation of fences and gates and all metal works. Your expertise in various welding techniques and fabrication processes will contribute to the creation of high-quality gates and fences that meet strict industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize a wide range of tools and equipment, and develop your skills in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble metal parts. Measure materials with calipers, tape measure and other precision instruments to ensure accurate cuts and fits. Operate welding machines, cutting machine and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols related to welding, machining, and construction site procedures. Qualifications Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety practices. Ability to read schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, and basic machining operations. Strong math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication projects. Experience working with sheet metal, metal pipes, wrought iron and other materials related to welding process
