Endorsement Forklift Metal fabrication High school diploma or GED Driver's License Driving Welding Full Job Description We are looking for a full time structural steel fabricator welder/fabricator/Installer that is D1.1 certified, and can weld 7018 in all positions proficiently, and has a 232 wire feed cert. Construction experience is a plus. A valid California drivers license is required. As well as a clean driving record. Available position:

is a mix of shop fabrication of structural steel beams, columns and staircases and field work at construction sites. Where you will be tasked with installing steel columns and beams and field welding structural connections including full pen moment frames, welding nelson studs, saddles, connection plates etc. where you will be asked to read blueprints, measure, cut and weld structural steel components for columns and beams with a team of fabricators. Field work includes crane installations and field welding of structural steel components, including full pen moment frames that have to pass UT inspections. Field work is on active construction sites during the steel erection process, loading and off loading trucks with cranes or forklift, climbing ladders and bolting/welding steel components together, some projects may include carrying and lifting steel members that can weigh over 50 lbs, and other construction related tasks. Shop fabrication work includes cutting, torching, welding steel I Beams, tube steel, pipe to specific shop drawing specifications. Use of oxy/acetylene and plasma torches, band saws, grinders, iron worker, press break, drill press and a myriad of fabrication tools. Also could include primer painting completed parts. It would be a plus if you have a history of steel staircase fabrication. Mono stringer, dual stringer and cantilver style staircases.
