Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include, but not limited to the following: Weld smaller components (e.g. base plates, stiffener plates, cap plates, fillet welds, railings) Grinding and cleaning welds Replace wire in welding machines Out of position welding (horizontal and vertical) Weld larger assemblies Read WPS and set machine accordingly Follow all Safety Rules

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 1+ year of experience welding Structural and Miscellaneous Steel. Must be certified to operate the overhead and/or jib crane and/or forklift Must be certified in FCAW (wire) or

FCAW-G HS

Diploma/GED preferred Availability to work overtime as needed Must be able to lift 40 pounds Must be able to stand, twist, reach, and move around for long periods of time Must know how to operate a grinder
